Charity - Encephalitis Society

Encephalitis Society

In April 2015 our colleague, Brian Coleman was diagnosed with Viral Encephalitis, a rare but serious condition that causes inflammation of the brain. The complications resulting from the condition resulted in Brian taking early retirement. We wish Brian well in his ongoing recovery.

CRS has therefore adopted The Encephalitis Society as our charity for 2016. The objectives of the charity are to:

  • To support adults and children affected by Encephalitis, their families and carers.
  • To produce quality information on all aspects of the condition.
  • To raise awareness about the condition.
  • To conduct research and work in partnership with other researchers and their establishments.

We look forward to working with The Encephalitis Society during 2016.
